Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 3 August 2026 · Halal Pro (GHTE) · Operated by Islah Technology Sdn Bhd

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Halal Pro platform (the “Service”), including all associated websites, applications, APIs, and documentation, operated by Islah Technology Sdn Bhd (Company Registration No. 1310540-K) (the “Company,” “we,” “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing the platform, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, our Privacy Notice, and any other policies we publish from time to time. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. The Service

The Service provides halal certification lifecycle management — quotation, payment, audit preparation, site-visit tracking, non-compliance management, certification progress, and related compliance tools aligned with JAKIM requirements across eight industry sectors. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms or that are found to be inactive, unauthorised, or in breach of applicable law.

4. Role-Based Use

The Service provides distinct roles — client, coach, auditor, JAKIM administrator, platform administrator, and support viewer. Each role has defined permissions. You may only use the Service within the scope of the role(s) assigned to you and must not attempt to access data or functions outside that scope.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates Malaysian law or the laws of your jurisdiction;
  • Misrepresent your identity, role, or organisation;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other users' data, or our systems;
  • Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm the Service or its users;
  • Scrape, mine, or otherwise extract data from the Service except as expressly permitted;
  • Interfere with the proper operation of the Service.

6. Worldwide Coverage

The Service is available to users worldwide. Where you access the Service from outside Malaysia, you are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction, including any local data-protection, export-control, or consumer-protection requirements. The Service is provided on an international basis, and data you submit may be processed on infrastructure located outside your country of residence. We do not represent that the Service is appropriate or available for use in any particular location.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other materials in the Service are the exclusive property of Islah Technology Sdn Bhd or its licensors and are protected by copyright, database rights, trade secrets, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that results obtained through the Service will be accurate or reliable. Certification outcomes are determined by the relevant certification bodies and authorities — the Service does not itself confer halal certification.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — shall survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, including the Contracts Act 1950. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
